Herefordshire Community Foundation Wins Charity of the Year 2024 at the Herefordshire Business Awards
Herefordshire Community Foundation (HCF) is proud to announce that it has been named Charity of the Year 2024 at Herefordshire Business Awards. The awards were held on 12th October, with HCF taking the award, ahead of fellow Charity of the Year 2024 finalists Herefordshire Vennture and Herefordshire Young and Young Adult Carers CIC.
Bridie Sullivan, CEO of HCF, said, “After 22 years supporting local community projects, it’s fantastic to receive this recognition for our work. The trustees and staff team are thrilled.”
HCF is a secure and trusted channel for charitable giving across Herefordshire. The charity works with donors and key partners to fund grassroots community projects, connecting people who care with causes that matter. Since its foundation in 2002, HCF has awarded more than £7 million to a wide range of projects.
Bridie added, “We work hard to ensure every donation makes a difference and goes where it is most needed. Together we can make Herefordshire a better place to live, work, learn and play.”
