Laura Hughes who is one of our trustees and set up George’s fund to remember her five-year- old son George, has taken the opportuntity to thank NFU Mutual Hereford Agency.

They, as part of this nationwide effort by NFU Mutual dedicating £1.9 million to support local frontline charities across the UK in 2024; chose George’s Fund to receive a £6,509.00 donation

Sonia Owen and Sarah Curtis-Wynn, our Hereford agents, are delighted to have nominated George’s Fund, saying, “We are very grateful for the wonderful work your charity is undertaking to support our community.”

She would also like to thank BOSS – Border Office Supplies & Systems for their generous donation of £750 from their annual Golf Day to George’s Fund!  “We are incredibly grateful for the continued support from the entire BOSS team!”

Laura has been busy with other fundraising efforts recently. Such as a Charity Golf Day at Kington Golf Club, a Sellebrity Soccer match at Hereford FC and teaming with Be More Frank for George & Frank’s Charity car wash.
